What could be more interesting than travel to the capital of Russia? – Travelling to both capitals of Russia! The main city of tsars – Moscow – and the heart of the largest Empire – St. Petersburg – are welcoming you!

Day 1: Arrival to Moscow

Pick up with your driver from an airport; check-in to your hotel; dinner is included.

First day is mostly free and therefore you will have enough time for resting at the hotel after your travel or immediate exploring the centre of the city. In the evening you are invited to dinner and acquaintance meeting with your travel associates and, surely, the guide as well.

Day 2: Moscow City Tour and the Tretyakov Gallery

After the breakfast you meet your guide at the hotel lobby to proceed for the tour through the outstanding highlights of Moscow. Your feet will walk through the magnificent Red Square and feel its vibrant atmosphere. You will touch the history while passing through rooms of painted St. Basil's Cathedral and sniff the wind while pleasant and breathtaking view from high of the Sparrow Hills.

After lunch at a city restaurant you will be guided to the world-famous Tretyakov Gallery – the treasury of the Russian fine art where you will see collection of Russian icons and painting of classic masters (Aivazovsky, Vrubel, Vasnetsov, Repin, Vereshchagin, Serov, Levitan, Roerich etc.) and outstanding works of soviet painters.

Later you will proceed for Moscow Subway tour – the vascular system of vivid city organism. No doubt you will be surprised seeing how locals daily travel throughout this museum with trains! Launched in far 1935 nowadays it is one of five largest subways in the world. After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 3: The Kremlin

After breakfast you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and head to the Kremlin – the ancient outstanding construction lived out through centuries, which tells you its amazing story. You will visit the magnificent Armoury Chamber with its famous collection of weapons, imperial carriages, coronation finery and see the treasury and jewels of Russian Emperors’ House including marvelous Fabergé eggs.

After lunch you will visit the Grand Kremlin Palace – the ceremonial residence of the Russian president and the former home of Russian rulers. The interiors of the Palace are richly decorated with ornaments – just like its history consisting of many amazing and terrifying events. Feel this place, its thrilling energy and magnificence in which great Russian rulers lived as well.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 4: The Christ the Savior Cathedral and the Novodevichy Cemetery

After the breakfast you check out from your hotel.

The guide will accompany you for the tour to one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world – the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The tour will open you strange history of this place and the Cathedral’s one as well. You will be admired the unique decoration of the interiors and enjoy fantastic city views from the 40 meter high observation platform in the utter centre of Moscow.

Later you will have a short ride to the Novodevichy Convent, one of the most beautiful and ancient convents in Russia, where locates the most prestigious cemetery in Moscow. Many famous Russian political leaders, actors, scientists, poets and musicians are buried there, including Mstislav Rostropovich, Mikhail Bulgakov, Anton Chekhov, Vladimir Mayakovsky and Boris Yeltsin. The terrotiry of the cemetery is filled of small chapels, beautiful monuments and sculptures that make you feel more in park.

Lunch at a city restaurant.

After lunch which you will be transferred to the train station from where a comfortable high-speed Sapsan train will take you to St. Petersburg in just 4 hours.

Upon arrival your driver will meet you at the train station and takes you to your hotel in centre of St. Petersburg.

Day 5: St. Petersburg City Tour and the Faberge Museum

After breakfast you meet your guide will take you to a panoramic city tour through St. Petersburg. You will see Palace Square, the St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, Nevsky Prospect and many other popular attractions.

In the heart of city locates Peter and Paul Fortress. This is the exact place where St. Petersburg was raised up in wild moorish area 300 years ago. The main object of the fortress is the Cathedral where are buried almost all Russian emperors since the city foundation including the last one – Nicholas II with his family.

Also you will explore the world's largest collection of Faberge works at the Faberge Museum.

After lunch at a city restaurant you will enjoy a private boat tour along the picturesque canals and rivers of the Russian Northern capital and understand why St. Petersburg is also called Venice of the North.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 6: The Hermitage Museum and the Diamond Room

After the breakfast your guide will follow you to the legendary Hermitage Museum; it locates in the Winter Palace which is the highlight itself thanks to its architecture and history. There is no person – tourist or inhabitant of St. Petersburg – who could visit all sections of Hermitage within one time, so huge and impressive it is. Use these early time of visit to enjoy in peace and comfort the priceless masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough.

Also you will see the famous Diamond Room that contains the unique collection of exquisite gems belonging to the Romanov family.

Modern European Art section locates in the nearby building – the General Staff Building – to admire the superb collection of the world-famous French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 7: Trip to Pushkin

After breakfast your guide will take you to Pushkin city (Tsarskoye Selo) in vicinity of St. Petersburg. Another one “visit card” place which is well-known all around the world – the Catherine's Palace. This is an excellent example of baroque architecture and interiors of unbelievable beauty. Besides the art value the history of the building is the same precious. You will visit the replica of the world-renowned Amber Room.

The outstanding Catherine's Palace is surrounded by the lavish parks and gardens which underline its beauty and perform an exquisite complex together.

After lunch at a local restaurant you return to your hotel in St. Petersburg and have the rest of the day free.

Day 8: Trip to Peterhof

After breakfast the guide will meet you in the lobby for taking you to another place in vicinity of St. Petersburg – the Peterhof, the residence of Russian tsars constructed with similarity to French Versailles but with truly Russian range. Two vast parks and the brilliant Palace locates at the shore will provide you pleasant diving in attractions of past centuries.

During the walk you will visit the famous Bath Cottage and enjoy 176 fountains of various forms and styles. Dozens of historical films were shot right among the cottages and palaces of Peterhof. And the fountains cascade is usually accompanied with orchestra costumed in dresses of times of Peter the Great. To return back to St. Petersburg you will use the fast and comfort hydrofoil ride.

In the evening you are welcome to Farewell dinner in a company of your guide and travel associates.

Day 9: Departure from St. Petersburg

Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Depending on your departure time your driver will take you to an airport for your back flight.
