Pick up with your driver from an airport; check-in to your hotel.
First day is mostly free and therefore you will have enough time for resting at the hotel after your travel or immediate exploring the centre of the city. Numerous cafés and restaurants nearby will offer you any cuisine you prefer.
After your breakfast at the hotel the guide will meet you in the lobby ready to begin your tour. You will visit the popular sites and see the famous highlights of this brilliant city. Palace Square, the Hermitage Museum, the Mariinsky Theater, Nevsky Prospect and many others.
In the heart of city locates Peter and Paul Fortress. This is the exact place where St. Petersburg was raised up in wild moorish area 300 years ago. The main object of the fortress is the Cathedral where are buried almost all Russian emperors since the city foundation including the last one – Nicholas II with his family.
Then you will travel to the opposite side of Neva River and proceed to the second tallest Orthodox church in the world – the St. Isaac's Cathedral (currently functions as museum). The Cathedral had been constructed during decades and is considered as diamond of architecture – not just in historical and art meaning, but literally too thanks for gems and semi-precious stones used for construction.
After that you will visit another functioning religious place - the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. The name describes itself: the church was built on the exact spot where emperor Alexander II was mortally wounded while terrorist attack.
The rest of the day is free and your guide gladly suggest you more interesting attractions to visit.
After your breakfast you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and head to the legendary Hermitage Museum; it locates in the Winter Palace which is the highlight itself thanks to its architecture and history. There is no person – tourist or inhabitant of St. Petersburg – who could visit all sections of Hermitage within one time, so huge and impressive it is. The main exposition will show you the famous masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough.
Modern European Art section locates in the nearby building – the General Staff Building – to admire the superb collection of the world-famous French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.
Later you will be returned to the hotel and have free time.
After breakfast your guide will take you to Pushkin city (Tsarskoye Selo) in vicinity of St. Petersburg. Another one “visit card” place which is well-known all around the world – the Catherine's Palace. This is an excellent example of baroque architecture and interiors of unbelievable beauty. Besides the art value the history of the building is the same precious. You will visit the replica of the world-renowned Amber Room.
The outstanding Catherine's Palace is surrounded by the lavish parks and gardens which underline its beauty and perform an exquisite complex together.
After the tour you will return to your hotel in St. Petersburg and have the rest of the day free.
After breakfast the guide will meet you in the lobby for taking you to another place in vicinity of St. Petersburg – the Peterhof, the residence of Russian tsars constructed with similarity to French Versailles but with truly Russian range.
Two vast parks and the brilliant Palace locates at the shore will provide you pleasant diving in attractions of past centuries.
During the walk you will visit the famous Bath Cottage and enjoy 176 fountains of various forms and styles. Dozens of historical films were shot right among the cottages and palaces of Peterhof. And the fountains cascade is usually accompanied with orchestra costumed in dresses of times of Peter the Great.
To return back to St. Petersburg you will use the fast and comfort hydrofoil ride.

Following breakfast you proceed for a guided tour through the Yusupov Palace – the one of the most gorgeous examples of classicism style constructions in St. Petersburg.
Decorated with six-column portico, the Palace delights with harmony of proportions and silhouette elegancy.
The tour will tell you the interesting story of the ancient family of Yusupovs and the terrifying story of Grigory Rasputin who was murdered in the cellar room of the palace in 1916.
Later you will have a private boat tour along the picturesque canals and rivers of the Russian Northern capital and understand why St. Petersburg is also called Venice of the North.
After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Depending on your departure time your driver will take you to an airport for your back flight.
